Bio

Talon Smith is from Kountze, TX and was a busy athlete that played volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis. In volleyball she was a four-year letterwinner, team captain three seasons, Academic All-State four years, 1st Team All-State three seasons, 1st Team All-District three seasons, KHS MVP, TGCA East All-Star MVP, and TABC All-Star nominee. She continued her athletic career at Grambling State University where she played volleyball as a setter and earned Setter of the Year Southwestern Athletic Conference and Southwestern Athletic Conference MVP. Talon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Criminal Justice. She is currently the head volleyball coach for West Brook High School since 2016. She is married to Nate Smith who is the personal trainer for strength and conditioning of Xcel Volleyball. They have two children, Kenleigh and Kameron.
