Cielisse Gibbs is a third year coach for XCEL and has previously coached for Absolute Volleyball Academy (AVA). She is currently coaching volleyball and basketball at Warren High School. Growing up, Cielisse was a versatile athlete who played volleyball and basketball at Pearland High School graduating in 2001. She was an All-District 25-5A selection for Pearland. She played club volleyball for Houston Juniors. Cielisse earned a volleyball scholarship to play at University of Houston where she was redshirted for 2 years following multiple knee injuries. She moved on to start a family and ultimately graduated from Texas Tech University with her Bachelors of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies Specializing in Special Education. She then furthered her education and received her master’s degree in Special Education and Educational Diagnostician Certification. Cielisse teaches at Warren High School as the Behavior Teacher.
