Andrea “Dre” is a Baytown native with a big background in volleyball. She was a three-year letter winner at Clear Lake High School and earned All-District 24-6A honors and Clear Lake Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior. As a senior, she was named to the All-Texas Team Player To Watch List, earned all-tournament honors at the Clear Creek ISD Tournament and garnered honorable-mention distinction on the PrepVolleyball Defensive Dandies ranking at the club level. After high school, she continued her career as a DS/libero at University of New Orleans. Dre finished her career with 1,349 digs, which put her in third in program history. A four-year letter winner, Nava finished seventh in the Southland in digs during her senior season. She returned to the program as an assistant coach in 2020 after graduating with a degree in Health Care Management.
