WHAT IS CLUB VOLLEYBALL?

Club volleyball provides opportunity for local youth (ages 12 through 18) to play volleyball outside of school. Club season starts around November/December and ends around April/May. Teams are formed after summer tryouts and practice weekly to prepare for tournaments locally, regionally, and/or nationally. Xcel teams practice 2x week and compete in 2-3 tournaments a month. Club volleyball offers year round training, incredible team and family memories, and college exposure for those interested in collegiate volleyball.

Club dues differ based on Xcel skill tiers (e.g. local, semi-travel, & travel). Payment plans are provided.

We offer an Xcel Developmental Program for beginner ages 9-12. This is a cheaper low commitment option for extra young players to learn volleyball at the core basics.

HISTORY

Xcel Volleyball Club was established in 2004 by Chelsea Monroe, and over time, has expanded over the Houston and Greater Area. Xcel operates in three main locations (Cypress, Kingwood, and Mont Belvieu) and two satellite locations (Marshall and Franklin). The program serves over 350 athletes and opened its own gym called Xcel Sports Facility in 2018.

mission

Xcel Volleyball Club is dedicated to training volleyball youth while instilling core values of leadership, discipline, teamwork, achievement, and respect. We are here to provide a foundation for our players to lead successful lives on and off the court.
