Emily Moon is a junior Opposite hitter at Lamar University and is originally from San Antonio! She attended John Paul 2 Catholic Highschool in New Braunfels and won a state title her junior year in 2022. She began playing club volleyball at 10 years old at South Texas Volleyball Academy (STVA), moved to Tri-County Volleyball Association (TCVA) for 15s, and finished her club volleyball career at Magic for her 18s year. College volleyball has given her the opportunity to be nominated as the President and Division 1 Representative for the Southland Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Through having so many amazing coaches throughout the years, she feels inspired to give back to the volleyball community and positively impact the lives and volleyball careers of young players.
