Amari lettered four years for West Brook High School and was a 3x team captain. During her high school career, she was a 4x All-District selection, BMT Enterprise Super Gold Team honoree, and SETX All-Star Game selection. Amari played two years of club volleyball for the Texas Tornados. She continued a collegiate career as a true freshman setter at McNeese State University. Amari transferred to play her last three years at Tarleton State University where she completed her career totaling 900 assists. Amari graduated with a B.S. in General Business.
